A licence, not a sale

You buy a licence to use AllRev, not the software itself. AllRev is licensed per person: one licence key, five devices, and no seat counting beyond that. The app is sold through Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller of record for payment, tax and refunds; we are the licensor.

Your key and your five devices

A licence key activates up to five devices. You can deactivate a device yourself, in the app or at allrev.app/devices, and the slot frees immediately. Replacing a disk or reinstalling the app does not burn a slot: activation is fingerprinted so a repaired machine is recognised, not resold to.

Keys that show up on far more devices than five, or spread across regions implausibly fast, may be suspended while we email you. A licence is for the machines you use, not for sharing.

12 months of updates — then it keeps working

The price buys the current version of AllRev and 12 months of updates from purchase. When the 12 months end, nothing stops: the app keeps running and keeps syncing, and the update service keeps serving you the last version your licence covers. An optional renewal — $29 for another 12 months at the time of writing — extends the update entitlement, and only that.

Refunds revoke the licence

There is no trial version — the refund window is the trial. If you ask Paddle for a refund within that window, the licence is revoked the next time the app checks in, and a revoked licence cannot activate devices. The data on your machine stays yours and stays on your machine; deleting it is your call, not ours — we never had a copy.

Offline use

AllRev works offline: it reads a local, encrypted database. The licence needs to reach our licence service every couple of weeks; a machine offline for more than 30 days puts the app in read-only mode (dashboard visible, syncing paused) until it can check in again. Clock tricks to dodge this are detected, because of course they are.

The numbers are what your providers report

AllRev displays what your payment providers' APIs report, read-only. Where a provider does not report a fee, a tax, a country or a payout, AllRev says so — it does not guess, convert or invent. Totals are grouped per currency; the app performs no currency conversion. AllRev is a lens on your providers' data, not an accounting system, not a tax instrument, and not a guarantee that a provider's own dashboard will match to the cent — reconciliation caveats are stated in the app next to the figures they concern.

Your keys and your data

Credentials you paste are stored in your operating system's keychain and your ledger in an encrypted local database; they are never sent to us. You are responsible for the keys you create and for revoking them. What the app sends where — the complete host list and nothing beyond it — is on the privacy page.

No warranty

AllRev is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — in plain words: it shows you your revenue, and while we work hard to make it accurate and safe, we do not promise it is flawless or that it suits any accounting, tax or filing purpose. Keep your providers' dashboards as the source of truth for anything that must be exact.

If something goes wrong

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to AllRev is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially after your purchase, the version in force on your purchase date continues to apply to that purchase, and the change applies to future purchases or renewals. The date below updates whenever this page does.
